Just Salad, LLC (the “Company”, “Just Salad”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”) is committed to maintaining robust privacy protections for its users. This Privacy Policy describes how Just Salad and its subsidiaries and affiliates may collect, use, and disclose personal information of visitors who access or interact with our websites (“collectively, the “Site”), social media pages, mobile Apps (collectively, the “App”), as well as other digital platforms including electronic devices, kiosks, or tablets at Just Salad restaurant locations that link to this Privacy Policy (together with the Site and App, the “Services”), and in the context of certain offline activities at Just Salad restaurant locations described in this Privacy Policy.
“You” refers to you, as a user of our Services.
By using our Services, you accept our Privacy Policy, and you consent to our collection, storage, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
I. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect “Non-Personal Information” and “Personal Information.” Non-Personal Information includes information that cannot be used to personally identify you, such as anonymous usage data, general demographic information we may collect, referring/exit pages and URLs, platform types, preferences you submit and preferences that are generated based on the data you submit and number of clicks. Personal information you may provide to Us through the Services or otherwise includes:
Contact data, such as your first and last name, email address, mailing addresses and phone number.
Profile data, such as your username and password that you set to establish an online account with Us, and other information you may submit or include in your account profile, such as your birthday, zip code, and dietary preferences
Order and transactional data, such as the information necessary to process your orders when you place an order at one of our restaurants or through the Services for delivery, outpost or pick up, information about your payment transactions, and your order history.
Communications that we exchange when you communicate with Us, such as when you request support, contact Us with questions or feedback, complete our surveys, engage with Us on social media or otherwise interact with Us.
Marketing data, such as your preferences for receiving communications about our Services, restaurants, products, activities, events, and publications; details about how you engage with our communications; demographic information such as your gender; and information you provide when you participate in an event, contest or promotion.
Other information that is not specifically listed here, which We will use in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
Automatic Collection. We, our service providers and third party partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your activity over time on the Site, the App and other online Services, including:
Device data, such as your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, the website you visited before browsing to our website, unique identifiers (such as device ID), and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.
Online activity data, such as the date and time of your visit, pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, search terms you enter using our Services, access times, and duration of access.
Precise geolocation data, such as location-based information (by allowing our App to access your location).

Cookies and Similar Technologies. Like many online services, We use the following cookies and similar technologies to facilitate some of our automatic data collection:
Cookies, which are text files that websites store on a visitor’s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of tracking user activity and patterns, helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences and generally improving your browsing experience. This type of information is collected to make the Site more useful to you and to tailor the experience with Us to meet your special interests and needs.
Web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, which are typically used to demonstrate that a webpage or email was accessed or opened, or that certain content was viewed or clicked, typically to compile statistics about usage of websites and the success of marketing campaigns. We may use web beacons to collect information about your interactions with our email messages, such as the links you click on and whether you open or forward a message, the date and time of these interactions and the device you use to read emails.
Software development kits, or SDKs, which are used to incorporate third party computer code into our App that allows our third party service providers or advertising partners to collect data directly from our App for a variety of purposes, including to provide Us with analytics regarding the use of our App, to integrate with social media, add features or functionality to our App, or to facilitate online advertising.
Information Collected from Other Sources. We may receive personal information about you from companies that help provide our Services. We may also receive personal information from other third parties, such as:
Data providers, such as information services and data licensors.
Publicly-available sources, such as social media platforms.
Marketing partners, such as companies that have entered into joint marketing relationships or other joint ventures with us.
Depending on your personal device and App permission settings, when using the App, we may collect or have access to your:
Precise geolocation. When you give the App permission to do this, the App may use your mobile device’s location services to collect real-time information about the location of your device (using both GPS and other methods) to provide requested location services, ensure your orders are placed at the correct location, and to serve you relevant offers or promotions.
Camera. When enabled, this may allow the App to access the camera to scan and input payment method details. Providing access to your Camera function is entirely optional.
Wi-Fi connection information. When enabled, this may allow the App to view Wi-Fi connections.
Other. The App will send and receive data to and from the Internet, and may view network connections, have full network access, control vibration of your device, or prevent your device from sleeping.
You may be able to enable or disable geolocation collection by the App by adjusting the permissions in your account or device settings. If GPS precise location services are disabled, other means of establishing or estimating location (e.g., connecting to or proximity to Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, beacons, or our networks) may still be active.
Some of the technology described above is used by us or our partners to correlate information collected about you over time across two or more websites or online services.
We may combine personal information about you that We receive from third parties with information We have already collected about you and use that combined information pursuant to this Privacy Policy.
Information Collected from Third Party Platforms. If you communicate with Us or mention Us via social media (such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, Tiktok) or other third party online platforms, We may collect information about you, such as the communications, your name, your user ID and/or user name associated with that platform and any information or content you have permitted the platform to share with Us. The platform provider’s privacy policy will apply to your interactions and its collection, use and sharing of your personal information, including when you interact with pages that We maintain on social media platforms. You or the platforms may provide Us with information about you, and we will treat such information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You should check your privacy settings in your social media accounts to understand and change the information sent to Us through these services.
Information About Others. If you decide to invite a third party to create an account, We will collect your and the third party’s name and e-mail address to send an e-mail and follow up with the third party. As part of your use of the Services, We may provide you the opportunity to connect automatically with your friends through the use of contact importer tools. If you elect to use these tools, We will access information regarding your friends to facilitate automatic connection with your friends. In all cases, when you share the personal information of others with Us, you are responsible for ensuring that you have their permission to do so.
Children’s Privacy
The online Services are not intended for, and are not intentionally targeted to, children under 13, and we do not knowingly request or collect personal information from any person under 13 years of age through the Services. If we learn that the online Services have received personal information directly from a child who is under the age of 13, we will delete the information in accordance with applicable law. advertise to you both on and off the Services, which may include tailoring ads to your inferred interests and measuring the performance of our ad campaigns;
make inferences about connections between different internet-connected devices used by you or members of your household;
provide location services;
manage health and safety in our restaurants;
address legal matters;
prevent, investigate, identify, stop, or take any other action with regard to suspected or actual fraudulent or illegal activity, claims or other liabilities, or any activity that violates our policies; or
for any other purpose, with your consent where appropriate.
We may also use any of the personal information we collect to (1) generate pseudonymous or other proprietary identifiers and use them for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy (for example, creating, using and sharing an encrypted hash of an email address you provided to us for our advertising purposes); and (2) generate anonymous or de-identified information and use it for any purpose.
III. HOW WE PROTECT INFORMATION
We implement security measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Your account is protected by your account password and we urge you to take steps to keep your personal information safe by not disclosing your password and by logging out of your account after each use. We further protect your information from potential security breaches by implementing certain technological security measures including encryption, firewalls and secure socket layer technology. However, these measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed by breach of such firewalls and secure server software. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.
IV. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
We may share your personal information as described below and as otherwise described either in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection:
Third Parties Designated by You. When you use the Services, the personal information you provide will be shared with any third parties that you authorize to receive such information.
Service Providers. We may share your personal information with companies and individuals that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business (such as customer support, hosting, payment processing, order and menu processing, analytics, email delivery, food delivery, marketing, and mobile App development and operation). These third parties may use your personal information only to help us operate the Service or our business as authorized under our contracts with them.
Affiliates. We may share some or all of your personal information with our parent company, subsidiaries, and other companies under common ownership or control with us for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Joint Marketing Partners and Joint Ventures. We may also share any personal information we collect with third party companies that have entered into joint marketing collaborations or other joint ventures with Us, which may use and share such information pursuant to its own privacy policy.
Advertising Partners. We may also enable third party advertising companies to collect information about your activity on the Services for the purposes described in the Advertising section above and/or use hashed customer lists that we share with them to deliver ads to them and similar users on their platforms.
Corporate Restructuring. Third Party Platforms. Some of our Services may enable you to connect to social media or other third party platforms and authorize Us to share your personal information with them, such as when you post content or use options to access the Services by logging into the third party platform. If you choose to do this, We will provide information to such platforms in accordance with your elections. You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for your use of those third party platforms and that it is your responsibility to review the terms of use and privacy policy of the third party provider of such platform. We will not be responsible or liable for: (i) the availability or accuracy of such platforms; (ii) the content, products or services on or availability of such platforms; or (iii) your use of any such platforms.
Authorities and Others. We may disclose personal information to law enforcement, government authorities and private parties if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is appropriate or necessary for the Compliance and Protection purposes described above.
Professional Advisors. We may disclose your personal information to professional advisors, such as lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to Us.

We retain personal information to achieve the purposes for which the information was collected. In certain cases, we may need to retain personal information for purposes required under applicable law, for tax or audit purposes, or for other purposes permitted under law.

Our Services may contain links to websites, mobile Apps or other online services operated by third parties. When you click on a link to any other website, mobile App or online service, you will leave our Services and go to another site, and another entity may collect personal information or anonymous data from you. In addition, our content may be included on other online services that are not associated with Us. We have no control over, do not review, and are not responsible for, these third party online services or for their content or actions. Other online services follow different rules regarding the collection, use and sharing of your personal information. The links to third party online services are for your convenience and do not signify our endorsement of, or affiliation with, any third party or its services.
VII. YOUR RIGHTS REGARDING THE USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
Opt-Out of Marketing Communications. When you create an account and provide your email address, we will periodically send you administrative e-mails, free newsletters, and e-mails that directly promote the use of our and our Services. You may opt-out of marketing-related emails by following the unsubscribe instructions provided at the bottom of any e-mail you receive from Us or by contacting Us directly at marketing@justsalad.com. Despite opting out of marketing-related emails, you may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing communications, including notices of any updates to our Terms of Use Agreement or Privacy Policy.
Text Messages. We may offer communications via SMS texts or similar technology (including via automatic telephone dialing equipment, if we received the appropriate consents from you in accordance with applicable law) sent by Just Salad or any of its service providers, such as when we send you text messages to confirm, process and notify you about the status and pickup location of an order you place with us, or for any customer service, account-related or marketing purpose. To stop receiving text messages from a code operated by Just Salad, reply STOP to any message you receive from such code. Note that we may send you a message to confirm receipt of your STOP request. Message and data rates may apply for this service. You can also opt-out of Just Salad marketing texts by emailing us your request and mobile telephone number to marketing@justsalad.com.
Interest-Based Advertising. Some of our advertising partners are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) and are subject to the Self-Regulatory Principles for Online Behavioral Advertising published by the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA). You can obtain more information about these companies’ information collection practices, and opt-out of receiving interest-based advertising from participating NAI and DAA members at http://optout.networkadvertisi... and/or the DAA’s website at optout.aboutads.info. Mobile app users may opt out of receiving interest-based advertising in mobile apps provided by participating members of the Digital Advertising Alliance by installing the AppChoices mobile app, available at https://youradchoices.com/appchoices. Cookies. Most browsers let you remove and/or stop accepting cookies from the websites you visit. To do this, follow the instructions in your browser’s settings. California law may classify our use of these services as a “sale” of your Personal Information to the companies that provide the services because We permit them to collect information from our users (e.g., device data and online activity data) to help them serve interest-based ads online. Right to information about third party disclosures for direct marketing purposes
If you are a user of the Services and a California resident, California’s “Shine the Light” law (California Civil Code § 1798.83) permits you to request and obtain from Us once a year, free of charge, information regarding our disclosure of your personal information (if any) to third parties for their direct marketing purposes during the preceding year. If this law applies to you and you would like to make such a request, please submit your request in writing to marketing@justsalad.com with “Shine the Light” in the subject line. The request must include your name, street address, city, state, and ZIP code and an attestation that you are a California resident. We are not responsible for requests that are not labeled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.
We reserve the right to confirm your California residency to process your requests. In accordance with the CCPA, We will need to confirm your identity to process your requests to exercise your information, access or deletion rights. As a part of this process, We may require you to login to the Services or require you to provide government identification, signed declarations and other proof of identity. Consistent with California law, you may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. To designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, you must provide a valid power of attorney, the requester’s valid government-issued identification, and the authorized agent’s valid government issued identification.
